Arathi highlands level 30

The decorating during midsummer always makes me smile. It really is a great contrast to the forsaken tents and buildings. But it really helps, the place feels less dead with pretty flowers all over.
My first mission was to kill Syndicate. They had cows on the farm and I felt bad for leaving them there at that deserted farm. I killed a good amount of humans and the reward was good. I am in need of some more gold if I want to continue my travels.
A forsaken lady asked me to kill her friend, a woman who was still human. I felt bad for killing someone as an act of revenge. But the undead will comes first, no matter what I feel. We elves have them to thank for a lot.
In the Stromguard fortress I nearly got myself killed. The place is guarded and the rogues lurk in every corner.  But I got away with the sigil in time to save my own skin.

Arathi highlands is such a neglected zone, only 18 quests!!? Its a true shame because I would love some cut scenes from the past. About the league of Arathor and the troll war. This place has some lore and I'd rather hear about that than kill ogres to be frank. Though the fields are beautiful and the horde camp Hammerfall is the most awesome  name/song ever, I still think that Arathi highlands is very much flawed as a questing zone.

Hillsbrad foothills level 23

I left Silvermoon and the Ghostlands behind to travel all the way to Hillsbrad foothills through Silverpine forest, such a creepy place. I followed the road and didn't even stop for food and drink.
By the road I witnessed what seemed to be the creation of undeath, when a human corpse is brought back to life in order to serve Sylvanas.
My horse is a true fighter, he managed to bring us to safety in less than a day. I really don't want to stay in this dark place longer than I have to.
Over there is Gilneas, I've never seen a worgen but I hear they are cursed beasts that live there.
The first task I got was everything but glamorous. I had to harvest eggs that had feasted on the bear flesh and blood. It was disgusting and I will really try to forget that I ever did this.
The amused captain, I really like his glasses.
The undead woman assured me that the cave spider is on a strict murloc diet. Luckily for me it turned out to be true.
I really don't like humans, but beating these miners and shackle them was quite hard to do. I don't see why they would have to prison them this way, then again... the forsaken never make much sense.

I really love this zone, the quests are very varied. Sometimes I cry and then I laugh at another quest. It's all very clever and I remember that before the cataclysm we had to collect bear tongues and tiger blood that took forever to collect. I'm so glad they removed that. It's almost like a horror movie at times. The sludge fields is very disturbing at least for a sensitive player. Still, if you haven't been to Hillsbrad post Cataclysm, I suggest you go there. I had a lot of fun! ^^

Oh, and here is a video when I did the first part of a long quest chain. Chrys get to be a questgiver! :P

Ghostlands Dungeon healing (level 15)

While in Silvermoon I decided it was time to buy new robes, ones that would hold in battle. I also visited an enchanter who taught me a few simple spells to improve my weapons.
On my way out I noticed this beautiful magic crystals in the cieling, I'd really like to have those in my house.
I crossed a bridge on my way to Ghostlands and found a frog, it seemed to be in pain. I healed it with a small blessing and he has been following me around ever since.
It is quite odd to take orders from the dead, but I guess we don't really have a choice. At least they are with us against the amani trolls in this area.
I slept in the highest tower I could find, a bit chilly... but it was the cheapest option I had. The travel back to the inn in Silvermoon would have taken too long.
I've got to deliver a message to the santum of the moon. I should hurry. They are expecting me.

Opinion of Leveling in Ghostlands.
Well, it is not even close to being as pretty as Eversong. But the flow of the quests is great, I have to do a lot of walking, but I don't mind. It interests me how the undead and the elves seem to get along and I am thrilled about the quest involving Sylvanas. I also like the fact that my questing in Ghostlands eventually sends me to the king of Silvermoon, Lor'themar Theron. And I also have a free exalted to cash in with Tranquillien, the main quest hub of the zone.

Deadmines level 15, first dungeon as holy ^^
